Murales dedicated to Franco Ballerini

The Murales and the sports area are dedicated to Franco Ballerini, ex-Italian champion in cycling racing. He was a road racing cyclist since 1986 to 2001 and he won the cycling classic Paris–Roubaix twice and the Grand Prix des Amériques once. He was manager of the Italian national cycling squad since 2001.

During  the 2022 Cycling World Championships, a commemorative stele was put here in memory of him.
